Saw “Ted” last night.

First off, I was disappointed.  Let’s break the movie down a little to explain why.

Cast: A lot of recognizable names.  Odd parts for some of them (Ryan Reynolds plays a non-speaking part) but overall besides Wahlberg, the people fit the roles.

Characters: The two main characters were very well-developed, beyond that it was a mystery.

Plot: Extremely predictable and drawn out.  Everyone knows there are crazy people in the world, and that there is going to be someone who would be jealous and crazy enough to steal the bear.  It’s surprising that it took twenty-seven years for it to happen.  The love story sounded like so many we’ve heard before.  All in all not very thought provoking.

Recommendation:  If you enjoy laughing at dumb jokes (as I do very much) then I would rent this on redbox when it comes out, or netflix.  Do not waste the money to go see this in theater.

I will probably write about a lot of things nobody cares to read. There is also a good chance I do not update this very often.
